Key Symptoms: Loss of vision on the left side of the visual field (homonymous hemianopia) Difficulty perceiving visual stimuli on the affected side Preservation of eye movement and pupillary reflexes despite vision loss Possible awareness of visual deficits, or in some cases, unawareness (anosognosia) Difficulty with spatial orientation and navigation Potential visual hallucinations in some cases No damage or abnormality in the eyes themselves
