Key Symptoms: Visual impairment or loss that may be temporary or permanent. Blurriness or distorted vision. Partial or complete loss of visual fields (visual field defects). Visual hallucinations or illusions in some cases. Difficulty with visual tasks, such as reading or recognizing faces. Pain or discomfort around the eyes or head, depending on tumor location. Other neurological symptoms like headaches, dizziness, or weakness if the tumor presses on adjacent brain areas.

Diagnosis Path: Comprehensive eye examination to assess visual acuity and field defects. Neuroimaging studies such as MRI or CT scans to locate and evaluate the neoplasm's size and position. Visual evoked potentials (VEP) tests to measure the electrical activity in the visual pathways. Biopsy or surgical sampling if a tumor is detected and further classification is needed. Additional neurological assessments to understand the extent of the nervous system involvement.
