Key Symptoms: Partial or complete loss of vision in one or both eyes, often affecting the left visual field Visual field defects such as hemianopia (loss of half of the visual field) Difficulty perceiving colors or contrasts in the affected visual field Blurred or distorted vision Problems with visual perception, including difficulty interpreting visual information Other neurological signs depending on the location and size of the tumor, such as headaches or neurological deficits

Diagnosis Path: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the brain with contrast to identify tumor location and size Computed Tomography (CT) scan if MRI isn't feasible Visual field testing to determine the specific visual deficits Ophthalmological examination to assess visual acuity and optic nerve health Biopsy or surgical removal may be necessary to establish tumor type, especially if malignancy is suspected
