Lower Lung Lobe, Right

The right lower lung lobe is the largest lobe on that side, positioned below the oblique fissure and closely associated with the diaphragm and the major fissure's vascular structures, including sizable branches of the inferior pulmonary vein. Reattachment of this lobe is performed following traumatic separation, such as a crush or penetrating injury that disrupts the bronchovascular pedicle, and requires restoring the lower lobe bronchus along with its arterial and venous connections.
