Procedure Overview

Surgeons go back in to reposition, tighten, repair, or otherwise correct the existing device to the extent possible, aiming to avoid a full device replacement if the original hardware can still function once adjusted.

It is distinguished from plain Percutaneous by the presence of scope-guided visualization, and from Via Natural or Artificial Opening Endoscopic by its route being a new puncture rather than an existing orifice or stoma.
