Environmental triggers combined with genetic susceptibility can lead to the development of rheumatoid myopathy affecting the shoulder muscles.

Key Symptoms: Persistent pain in the shoulder region Muscle weakness in the affected shoulder Swelling and tenderness around the shoulder joint Reduced range of motion in the shoulder Stiffness, especially in the morning or after periods of inactivity Fatigue and general feelings of malaise Potential signs of systemic inflammation, such as fever or weight loss
