Diagnosis Path: Diagnosis involves a combination of medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. Healthcare providers will assess recent bee stings, signs of allergic reaction, and any evidence of self-infliction. Mental health evaluation may also be conducted to identify underlying psychological causes, especially in cases of intentional self-harm. Laboratory tests can include blood work to detect signs of systemic toxicity or allergic response. Imaging is rarely necessary unless complications arise.
