Diagnosis Path: Diagnosing arthropathy in patients with neoplastic disease involves a combination of clinical assessment and diagnostic tests. Physicians may perform physical examinations to evaluate joint swelling, tenderness, and movement. Laboratory tests, such as blood counts, inflammatory markers (ESR, CRP), and specific antibody tests, can help identify inflammatory or autoimmune components. Imaging studies like X-rays, MRI, or ultrasound are valuable for assessing joint damage or metastasis. In some cases, joint fluid analysis may be necessary to exclude infections or other causes.
