Key Symptoms: Persistent sore or ulcer on the gum that does not heal Swelling or thickening of the gum tissue Bleeding from the gum area without apparent cause Pain or discomfort in the upper jaw or mouth Loose teeth or pain around the affected area Numbness or a sensation of tingling in the upper lip or gum Presence of a lump or mass on the upper gum Changes in the color or texture of the gum tissue

Diagnosis Path: Detailed medical and dental history assessment Visual and physical examination of the oral cavity Imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scan, or MRI to evaluate the extent of the lesion Biopsy — removal of a tissue sample from the suspicious area for histopathological analysis Additional tests as needed to determine the spread or staging of the cancer

Treatment Protocols: Surgical removal of the tumor and surrounding affected tissues Radiation therapy to destroy cancer cells and reduce tumor size Chemotherapy, often used in conjunction with surgery and/or radiation, especially in advanced cases Targeted therapy or immunotherapy for specific cancer types or genetic profiles Rehabilitation procedures post-treatment to restore function and aesthetics, such as dental prosthetics or reconstructive surgery Regular follow-up and monitoring to detect any recurrence early
