Diagnosis Path: Diagnosing a neoplasm of uncertain behavior involves a combination of clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests. These may include blood tests to measure calcium and parathyroid hormone levels, imaging studies like ultrasound, sestamibi scans, or MRI to locate and assess the growth, and sometimes a biopsy to examine tissue samples. Due to the uncertain nature of the tumor, ongoing monitoring may be necessary to observe changes over time.

Treatment Protocols: Treatment options depend on the size, location, and behavior of the neoplasm, as well as the patient’s overall health.
