Diagnosis Path: Review of recent exposure to sulfur dioxide sources Physical examination focusing on respiratory and skin symptoms Lung function tests to assess breathing difficulties Blood tests to evaluate overall health and possible systemic effects Imaging studies if respiratory complications are suspected Air sampling or environmental testing, if available, to confirm exposure levels
