Key Symptoms: Persistent or recurrent eyelid sores or ulcers Unusual growths or lumps around the eye, eyelids, or surrounding tissues Changes in the skin of the eyelids, such as thickening or pigmentation Blurred or decreased vision in some cases Pain or discomfort around the eye area Swelling or redness that does not resolve Unexplained bleeding or discharge from the eye or eyelid

Diagnosis Path: Detailed medical history and physical examination of the eye and adjacent structures Imaging tests such as ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI to assess the extent of the tumor Biopsy procedures to obtain tissue samples for histopathological analysis Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) or other specialized imaging for detailed mapping of the tumor's location and size Further testing may be recommended if metastasis is suspected, including sentinel lymph node biopsy or systemic scans

Treatment Protocols: Surgical excision or removal of the tumor, which may require reconstructive procedures Radiation therapy to target cancer cells and reduce tumor size Chemotherapy or targeted therapy for advanced or metastatic disease Immunotherapy in certain cases, especially where traditional treatments are ineffective Regular follow-up visits to monitor for recurrence or spread Supportive care to manage symptoms and maintain quality of life
