Clinical Causes: Repeated exposure to carcinogenic substances such as arsenic or certain chemicals in the workplace. Chronic skin conditions or persistent dermatitis affecting the scrotum. History of prolonged or frequent radiation exposure. Family history of skin cancers or genetic predispositions. History of prior skin injuries or infections in the scrotal area. Age and lifestyle factors, including smoking and poor hygiene. Infrequent skin screenings or delayed detection of skin changes.

Key Symptoms: Lumps or swelling on the scrotum that may be painless at first. Change in the skin's appearance, including the development of purple, red, or dark patches. Ulceration or open sores that do not heal over time. Itching, tenderness, or discomfort in the affected area. Unexplained bleeding or discharge from skin lesions. Persistent skin lesions that continue to grow or change in shape or color.

Diagnosis Path: Skin biopsy, where a small sample of skin from the lesion is removed and examined microscopically. Imaging studies such as ultrasound to assess the extent of the tumor and involvement of surrounding tissues. Lymph node assessment to determine if there is regional spread. Further imaging like CT scans or MRI may be utilized if metastasis is suspected.

Treatment Protocols: Surgical excision to remove the tumor and surrounding affected tissues. Lymph node dissection if cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. Radiation therapy to destroy remaining cancerous cells or reduce tumor size. Chemotherapy to target cancer cells that may have spread beyond the primary site.
